Careway connects you or a loved one with a dedicated personal health advocate. Think of your advocate as your personal healthcare assistant and guide, here to help you navigate and resolve all of your healthcare headaches.
Our advocates work to understand your unique healthcare needs, find specialists in your network, schedule appointments, organize transportation, assist with securing mobility equipment, send medication reminders, organize health records, explain medical bills, and coordinate between providers.
We're with you every step of the journey to ensure you receive the best care possible while minimizing stress and confusion.
To qualify, you or your loved one must be on Medicare. A Careway physician will assess your needs to confirm your eligibility, but we find that a majority of those interested in the program qualify.
Typically, this involves managing chronic or serious medical conditions. Because true well-being goes beyond just a medical diagnosis, you may also qualify if you or a loved one need extra support with everyday challenges that impact your overall health—such as arranging reliable transportation, accessing nutritious meals, or ensuring a safe and supportive home environment.
Yes. Navigating the process for getting mobility equipment can be complex, but your Careway advocate is here to help. We can coordinate with your physician to obtain the necessary prescriptions, identify approved in-network durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers, and help arrange the delivery of wheelchairs, walkers, or other essential mobility aids.
Careway is covered by Medicare the way other covered services are, so a deductible and coinsurance may apply — we tell you upfront. If you have a supplemental policy (Medigap) or Medicaid, your standard coinsurance may be fully covered, and if you have both Medicare and Medicaid, you pay $0 out of pocket.
Absolutely. We take your privacy very seriously. Careway is fully HIPAA-compliant, meaning your personal and medical information is stored securely and is only shared with the necessary healthcare providers or family members you explicitly authorize.
