Careway is a platform that connects you or a loved one with a personal health advocate.
Our advocates work to understand your healthcare needs, find specialists in your network, schedule appointments, organize transportation, send medication reminders, organize health records, explain medical bills, and coordinate between providers.
We're with you every step of the journey to ensure you receive the best care possible while minimizing stress and confusion.
To qualify, you must be on Medicare. A Careway physician will assess your needs to confirm your eligibility, but we find that a majority of those interested in the program qualify.
Example health conditions include: Alzheimers, Cancer, Cardiovascular, Cirrhosis, COPD, Dementia, Diabetes, Hospice, Multiple Sclerosis, Musculoskeletal, Parkinsons, Pulmonary, Renal, and Stroke.
Careway's Navigation service is covered under Medicare Part B, but standard coinsurance applies. If you have Medicaid or a supplemental (gap) insurance plan, the service will be fully covered at no cost. Without that additional coverage, the out-of-pocket cost is about $8 per half hour of advocate time.
Careway advocates help identify cost-saving opportunities by finding in-network providers, reviewing medical bills for errors, negotiating payment plans, identifying assistance programs, and ensuring you're not paying for unnecessary services.
Communicate with your Careway Advocate by phone, video, or message — whatever's most comfortable for you.
During your initial assessment with a Careway Physician, we will understand your needs and match you with a Careway Advocate that will best address your needs. You can always request to switch later if you feel the match isn't right.
